This program was designed by industry professionals to help you gain the skills and knowledge needed to start you cannabis manufacturing career. You’ll learn cannabis basics, along with industry best practices that will allow you to quickly walk into a role in a manufacturing facility.
Upon completion, you’ll be awarded a certificate of completion from your chosen college. Additionally, you’ll gain access to the Employer Network, which includes access to a digital badge to display your credential, as well as membership to the GF Institute, the professional organization dedicated to promoting the highest standards of professionalism, credibility, and equity in the cannabis industry.
You will study a range of topics, including: the business of cannabis extraction, product development, formulation and plant ensemble, extraction processes and principles, product safety, packaging and labeling, pest control, product testing, storage and more.
